Tim Tebow will finish the season as the Broncos' quarterback with the understanding his future bosses aren't here.
The Broncos' new general manager with final-say authority on roster decisions may or may not be Brian Xanders, the team's current GM. And the Broncos' next head coach most probably isn't in the building, where to buy Discount NFL Jerseys? maybe ujersy is a good choice.
Does Tebow believe than in the Broncos' final two games Sunday against Houston, and Jan. 2 against San Diego he's auditioning for bosses he doesn't yet know?
"I think that always in the NFL, everything you do is an interview," Tebow said today. "It is an audition. You always have to put your best foot forward and try and go out there and perform every day in practice and every game. I will try to do nothing less, personally."
As for the uncertainty of his next GM and head coach, Tebow said: "I'm not going to worry about it because I can't control it. There's no reason for me to worry about it. The only thing I need to worry about is getting ready for the Texans."
Kyle Orton wishes he was the starting quarterback getting ready for the Texans, too. Orton said today he believes he will be healthy enough to play Sunday against Houston but that he was told Tebow would finish the season.
"You never want to give up your job, you know?" Orton said. "We've worked hard for a number of months and you certainly want to finish that out with your guys. It is disappointing to not be able to do that.
"I understand that as an organization you have a lot invested in a first-round draft pick and you want to see him play, so that's how it goes, if you want to buy Baltimore Ravens #27 Jersey, go to ujersy."
After Tebow's starting debut last week, Tebow received mixed opinions about his performance.
"There have always been the naysayers," Tebow said. "And there always will be. There were when I was a freshman in high school. They told me I couldn't be a high school quarterback. That was my first dream, to be a high school quarterback.
"And we just had to keep taking steps from that point on. There's always going to be naysayers, there's always going to be people who don't want me to succeed or don't think I can succeed and I take that and use that as motivation. I always have and I think I always will. I'm a very self-motivated person."
One source of support has always been his family. The quarterback said there will be 16 Tebow relatives in Denver this weekend for Christmas at his house.
Also during today's press conferences, Broncos interim coach Eric Studesville said...
