As the judges read out the qualities that featured the event it was all boos from the crowd and many people walked out and protested. It may have not featured or their voices may have not counted but surely it had an impact that will show later in the career. The choice had been based on truly corrupt issues and with all due respect no one is soon attending another contest in the specific town unless they frame it 'under new management' just like they are used to when businesses collapse.
Body building should be framed as 'a corruption free zone' just like any other avenue that touches the heart of man. The profession of body building is a unique one and people who choose to venture into it have made many considerations and at last decide to major in that particular field mainly for competing with others. The body builders take a lot of their time to practice all in the pursuit of winning the big competitions. At times they even sacrifice a lot in their work outs and it hurts a lot for them to only be disappointed in the big event. At times the decisions we make can haunt other to a great extent.
When followed up to explain the drama the judges strictly stuck to their rights and demanded that no one should be blamed all exclaiming that in any competition there is always a winner and a loser no one can deny their claims but in body building there are very many tangible facts that can prove the winner. Even a non-qualified judge can quote some; the biceps, muscles, chest curves and even the spine shape. It is very sad to imagine what the judges look for in the winner but at least it should be not to absolute disappointment; by this I mean that there should be some reason for their choice.
Most of the body building contests have of late turned out to be avenues of favors and this has discouraged many body builders and it has come to be how well one is known in the profession, at times many people are even wishing that if it were for the racing at least the one touching the finish line first is the winner. All the people are calling for in fairness in any body building contest judges and absolute ranking of individuals, it may not be every ones choice but there is always some truth in them that should come out. Otherwise the profession is going to be taken and dished into a historical moment that never was all because no one will be attending the contests. Let body building be an example of merit to all other athletics.
