The phone supports upto 16GB memory and comes with a 4 GB card. It supports GPRS, EDGE, WLAN and Bluetooth. It has a microUSB slot. The camera is a standard 3.15 MP which can shoot in 2048 x 1536 pixels.

Along with these standard features, the Sony Ericsson Apsen presents some great extras like A GPS support, and has Skype, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter applications. In the entertainment section, supports MP3,. eAAC, WAV, and WMA. For video, it supports MP4, H.263 and WMV formats. It comes with a Stereo FM radio with RDS.

For the business minded, it has a complete Pocket Office, which supports Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and has a inbuilt PDF viewer.

The phone also is one of the few to support threaded view of SMS and has also supports MMS, Email, Push Email and Instant Messaging. The phone is one of the few to have the eco friendly tag, and has several applications which inform the user about the ecological issues and help them to use their phone in an eco-logic way.
