December 2010 a new expansion was released, and fans all over the world, pikc up this exciting new expansion. Called World of Warcraft Cataclysm, the story continues after the fall of the Lich King where Deathwing the Destroyer poses as the new threat as Azeroth suffers from destruction and new areas became accessible. Like all the expansion to world of warcraft the leveling cap has been risen to 85. The previous cap was level 80 so going from level 80 to level 85 is going to be the challenge for dedicated players.
Leveling up is the same has it has been in prevision expansions but with new instances and increased leveling times you will find your self challanged again. Using an Alliance character is no exception either so continue using your Alliance character build that made you successful in leveling up to 80 and grind away.
With Cataclysm comes the new and exciting dungeons and quest, also allot of quest in the new expansion have cinimatics which make the gaem allot more fun. This is the most logical way to go and should be the fastest way to level up because that is where you will encounter far more powerful mobs and other enemies than the ones that you encountered in Wrath of the Lich King.
Leveling up by participating in quests was always one of the essential tips in leveling up your character and this strategy continues to work in Cataclysm. There are plenty of Alliance quests that you can take part of with important quests being the "To the Depths", "Sea Legs", and "Call of Duty" quests. You can do all of these three quests once you reach level 80 so get these out of the way so you can enjoy the extra experience and rewards that make it easier to complete future quests.
As you go through the new story line you will find different quest that will allow and show you how to explore new zones and area's. In fact, if you explore these areas in this order, you should have a good sense of progression while you encounter new foes to face so you can level up appropriately.
If you have purchased a leveling guide to hit 80 then I would highly recommend picking up the extended version and continuing to level to 85. Make sure you follow these guides as they are very good and will level you to 85 quickly.
