For descriptive writing, remembering visual details is quite a useful activity which allows one see out of the box and to find fresh and innovative perspective related to the assignment subject. This is a creative writing assignment that encourages the students to memorise the visuals of the whole day.

Now, you have gathered the visual details; follow the writing techniques required to be followed by a good writer. A good writer looks beyond the facts and observe things which are unusual to be noticed down. The details that surrounds you every day, are hard to remember, but are good to provide grounds to your work.
Random questions prepare one to observe and write the interesting details by answering them. Descriptions make your writing alive. The description allows one to go beyond the basic structure, because words have a power to set readers mind.
