subject: What Is Xbox 360 Red Circle? [print this page] This is my xbox 360 for almost a year and and its started to not working properly , I am a victim of the famous "red circle"! I have the 4 red LEDs appears and it doeskin stop flashing and i cant even log in into my profile.

Is it under warrantly? then go for replacement, concatc to Microsoft they will give you best solution here. I've heard the 3 red lights of death is common but 4 is unusual.What is Xbox 360 red circle?

Disconnect the AV cable from the console, and then firmly reconnect it.
Note The cable meets some resistance before it is fully inserted. If the cable is not fully inserted, all four lights will flash red on the Ring of Light, or images may not be displayed on your TV or monitor.
Step 2: Do you have another AV cable available to you?
* If you have another cable: Try that cable and determine whether this resolve the problem.

This is due to too much heat building up inside the case due to a lack of cooling devices such as fans and heat sinks. Your Xbox telling you there is a problem with the connection to the monitor. If you have tried a different cable, then i'd suspect the console itself ,you are experiencing the Red Ring of Death, which is not uncommon. Although it can indicate that the console is not receiving enough power from the power supply, which can either be due to a faulty power supply or if the power supply cable is not fully inserted into the console.
