Two weeks ago, I met a girl in the party which was held to celebrate my friends birthday. She was really gorgeous, with long hair and charming smiles. And the moment I saw her, the idea hit me that she was absolutely my dream girl. I looked at her in a distance, daring not to draw closer, for she was like a dream which I was afraid to wake up from.
After talking with a friend for a while, I found that she had suddenly disappeared. I went to the desk by which she had stood, feeling at a loss for I had lost the chance of knowing who she was. Then I tried to figure out her identity through my friends, but it didnt work out.
Every night, I lay in bed thinking about her charming smiles and regretted about the chance which I didnt seize. At that moment, she was in front of me, and for just a few steps, I would have been able to know her and introduce myself to her. But this chance I didnt cherish and she was like a little bird flying into her sky where I had no knowledge of.
Every day, I just appeared depressed, which made my friends very worried. One day, they gave me a ticket to a Cartier jewelry show, saying that changing the environment might help to change my moods. Though I didnt feel like going there at first, I finally thought it a good idea to seeing those shining jewelries and appreciating their beauty, thus releasing myself from the low spirits.
The whole exhibition was in an elegant, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, and I was totally attracted by those unique designed, fashionably appeared Cartier jewelries. And to my surprise, the moment I turned back, I saw the girl who was in my dream every night, appearing as charming as she used to be. And this time, I would not let go the chance. Bravely I went towards her and introduced myself. She smiled at me and invited me to look around with her.
Now, after several dates, she has become my girlfriend. How lucky am I to have this second chance! Next time, when a chance is put in front of me, I would never let it go so as to avoid feeling regretted the rest of my life. About the Author:
