I simply got my Playsport delivered a pair of hours ago. I plugged within the USB charging association and that i noticed a large resitance that everybody else talked regarding here. If you look closely at the little USB association on the tip of the cable that connects to the camrea you will see 2 triangular protrusions on the face of 1 facet of it. I took a nail file and punctiliously filed down the 2 sharp points on the protrusions till the connector slide into the camera with slightly resitance. It's far better and therefore the protrusions are solely designed to carry the connector securely into the camera. They protrude way more than they actually need to so as to carry the plug into the camera. Remember, if you are trying this file them down slightly at a time, every time checking the resitance till you get them where you are snug with it. i am positive it is not attending to break my camera currently like others have claimed. smart luck and do that at your own risk. If you ruin it it's simply a cable connector.
This is an update concerning 720p clarity and zoom. When in 720p mode the image is slightly blurred and once I partially zoom within the image jumps and becomes clear. once I zoom back out once more the image once more slightly degrades. I updated the firmware to one.12 however i think it did an equivalent issue with versiion one.03. I contacted Kodak live email support and got transferred back and forth between techs with no results. They said it should be a firmware issue however with 2 versions? i believe not. 1080p has no jump in clarity or focus upon zooming, simply the standard electronic pixelation on full zoom.
