How to Create an E-Book That Sells!
How to Create an E-Book That Sells!

The first time I wrote an e-book, it consisted of complete meals for one person at 350 calories per meal. The book was called "Fill Your Plate and Still Lose Weight!".

The second e-book I wrote was with a business partner. The book was entitled "Is Your Site Suffering From Lack-O-Traffic-Itis" and taught home based small business owners how to increase the visitors on their website.

What I realized is that producing successful e-books as a home based small business can be efficient, effective, and profitable if you follow some simple steps. Below are some ideas you can use to create your own masterpiece:

Begin your topic choice with something you have knowledge on or have passion in. This will help to make your writing go more smoothly.

Use facts, figures, and other great content that your readers can use immedately.

Provide additional free bonuses such as free tips, secret information, or special tips that provide over the top value.

Add images, diagrams, photos and other visual aids to appeal to visual reader.

Choose easy to read fonts that will make it easy for the reader.

Write 30 pages or more to show that your book has value and helpful content.

Hook your prospect with a catchy title.

Use testimonials for credibility.

Tell your customer where they can buy extra copies.

Offer a referral fee.

Use catchy graphics for your cover.

Price it right. A study was done that showed the price of $7.00 as an easy to purchase starting price with little to no returns.

Add links that will take your readers to upsells, special offers and bonuses.

Include a guarantee with a no-risk factor for your prospect. Remove the risk for them in case your book is not what they expected.

Use a graphic designer to create an appealing, professional sales page.

Writing e-books is fun, exciting, and rewarding.

Lastly, position yourself as the expert in your field for your home based small business niche, by creating e-books that can also assist with your personal branding.
