4G Wireless Internet Lets Jacob Use His Daily Commute for Work

Jacob had moved to Dallas for a better job. He was an accountant in a small town in rural Texas and decided to search for a higher paying job that would offer more opportunity to rise. He simply could not find such an opportunity in his small town so he didn't even attempt to find one. Instead, he turned his glance to Dallas, where most of his friends went after graduation to find a job.

Even in the current economic downturn, it did not take long for Jacob to find a good firm to move to. It offered him a larger salary than he was previously earning and more opportunity to move up later on. In fact, raises were scheduled and so he could even plan on salary increases and perhaps even more responsibility. He was also highly coveted in the firm because of his prior experience. What Jacob quickly discovered, however, is that he was far more comfortable in small town, Texas than the huge metropolitan area of Dallas.

Granted, Jacob was early thirties and without spouse, so he certainly enjoyed the single life in the big city and the greater opportunities to find mates of the opposite sex. It was simply that he suddenly had lost his social network that had taken him a lifetime to build in his hometown where he returned to work right after graduation. He also found himself enjoying his job so much that he would take work home with him in the evenings and over the weekends.

This proved to help him in his job but left him less time to enjoy the new city in which he lived and meet friends and women his age. Instead, he was spending so much time commuting on the public train and then working long hours into the night that by the time his few friends wanted to go out to the club or have a few drinks at 10 o'clock, Jacob was too tired.

Until Jacob found out about fourth generation wireless Internet, such was his life in his new city. However, once he discovered 4G, he realized that he could spend time on his commute doing his work on his laptop. This meant that he would be able to finish up his work right before dinner and would have more energy to go out with friends. The reason he was able to work on the commute, both to and from work, was that 4G gives you high-speed wireless Internet as you stay mobile. You are no longer tied to small caf hotspots and weak signals. With 4G, the Internet hotspot travels with you and is therefore as large as the city in which you live.

Jacob found a way to use the one and a half hours of total daily commute for work. His wireless Internet connection gave him the ability to not lose time on the public train, which meant that he had more free time once he arrived home after work. This, in turn, gave him the time and energy to go out with his friends and discover his new home and all that it had to offer him.
