subject: You Are Not Making Any Cash - What Do You Do Next [print this page]

Okay, you have been busting your butt trying to make some sales on the Internet, all to no avail. Why not? Next, and most importantly, can it be corrected?

There could be many reasons why you don't cash in. It may very well be that your product or service just is not selling...for anyone. You can go look and see you know? Is it possible you are zeroing in on the wrong market? Could you be in the wrong season for your item? (Winter clothing in July...)

I do have some good news! You can check on the web to see whether it's selling or not. Those wonderful Search Engines are capable of more than you think!

For example, I searched for statistics on car sales. Typed in "statistics on car sales". (Perhaps we should be selling cars...) This February 2010 - latest information period - there were over $405 MILLION IN NEW CAR SALES THAT MONTH AND OVER $296 MILLION IN USED CAR SALES! AND YES... that was just February!

Okay, now I have gone and done it and depressed both of us. That is not my intention here. Just think though, almost 3/4 of a billion in sales in A MONTH!!

Matter of fact, now that I have had a chance to think about it, THAT IS GREAT NEWS! With that kind of cash out here, we shouldn't have too big of a problem getting some of that for ourselves, RIGHT? YOU CAN BET YOUR BIPPY IT IS!

Back to our 'no sales' dilemma. Let us examine it more closely. Make certain you have these firmly under your thumb as they will make a difference if you don't.

1.Check to assure your service or product is selling. (Remember the 'cold weather products' in summer?...)

2.What are you doing to advertise? Are you utilizing TE or PPC, classified ads, writing articles, what?

3.Are you zeroing in on your market or hitting it with a 'shotgun blast'? In other words are you promoting to a very specific audience (niche) or hitting the whole web with your ads? Make A good targeted plan and stick to it!

There is also a trend of many new web business people to become spread out too far.

Let's say you are selling cars. (Why not, I have already used it once...) Then you see these really cool tires, so you start selling them as well. Then, you find these outstanding tire cleaning and mounting items that you can make a pretty penny on. See where I am going here?

We have all been there and done that. Don't feel alone. But you need to find that niche and insert yourself in it. Then hopefully you will see those sales start popping in and the numbers going up.

We all hope one day to be making daily trips to the bank and stuffing the money in our vault. You work hard and stay focused, and it will come to pass!.
