Acne marks are annoying and boy are they stubborn, sometimes taking several months to over half a year to completely clear up. When you're struggling with breakouts it's like a never ending cycle, as soon as some acne marks fade there's always more to replace them. It's bad enough to fight the battle of breakouts, but fighting acne scarring can be just as brutal! There's countless products to treat acne marks left by zits, but perhaps some of the most effective ways can be done right from your home using simple ingrediants you can find in any grocery store, all of which are very cheap to buy.
Mix the following in a dish together:
-One tablespoon of plain natural yogurt
-One tablespoon of sour cream
-One tablespoon of cooked plain oatmeal (let cool before adding)
-A tad bit of lemon juice (squeeze it fresh yourself, don't use storebought lemon juice)
Place your newly made mixture onto the scars and leave on for 10-15 minutes then rinse off. Do this about 3 times per week and you should notice a reduction in the appearance of the scars more so then average. Be sure to keep a good skincare regimen to avoid breakouts and further scarring. You should always wash your face with a gentle cleanser twice a day, followed by applying a benzoyal peroxide treatment to affected areas (if you still breakout). Most acne scarring is caused by picking, so keep your hands off your face and you will notice a drastic improvement in your skin.
