What I mean by Internet Marketing noise is all of the distractions that come with being an Internet Marketer. I'm not even talking about all of the distractions that you get in your normal everyday life.
I'm on a lot of so-called guru mailing lists. The only reason that I'm on them is to keep up to date on what is going on. I almost never buy anything from their mailings. The problem is that a lot of people that are on these lists do. Now, I'm not saying that everything that they promote is crap, but there is an awful lot of hype and not much to back it up.
Believe me, I've been around the block and I've read countless products about making money online. The ironic thing was that when I stopped reading products about making money online is when I started to make money online.
The reason for this was simple. I already had more than enough knowledge to make money online, but I wasn't making money online. The reason for that was simple, I wasn't cutting out the Internet Marketing noise and getting to work and applying what I knew.
Another problem that I battled before I started making money online was that I would go to these Internet Marketing forums and read and read and read about making money online and not apply it. Even if I did apply a few things that I read about, I didn't see them through, all the way.
Knowledge is a great thing, don't get me wrong, but it is completely useless if you don't apply it. It is like going to four years of college and getting a degree and not using it. It would be like having that degree and sitting at home and not applying for any jobs.
Don't let your Internet Marketing knowledge go to waste. Even if you don't know everything that there is to know, no one does, by the way, learn one strategy and focus on implementing it. You fail 100% of the time if you don't attempt something. There is only one way to get something done and that isn't to dream about it, that is to actually put the work in and do it! Stop reading one ebook after another and start doing!
