subject: The 'heart Attack' Tool For Self Defense [print this page] One of the oldest self defense tricks is to use your trusted car keys. We have been told for many years to carry them between our fingers and if we should get into a combat situation, lash out and land a punch so the keys jab into them causing considerably more pain than your average punch would.
A twist on this is the heart attack. It can either be just a heart shaped key fob, or when used between the fingers when you punch, it will cause a lot off damage to your opponent. Carrying his keys in this way had always made Mick feel safer. He knew he could look after himself but having his keys between his fingers made him feel even more secure.
Unfortunately, when he got his new car, it was just a short thin rod to start the engine. This was a security measure to safeguard his car, but took away his feeling off safety when out at night. He was used to the feeling of his keys in his hands, so didn't want any other kind of self defence such as sprays etc. Online he came across the heart attack and it was exactly what he'd been looking for. As soon as it arrived it went onto his car keys and he felt safe again.
One night he finished work and made his way down to the basement car park where he left his car. He noticed a shadow moving, but tried to ignore it and made for his car. As he got closer the shadow pounced, "give me your keys man", the guy yelled and made a step to grab Mick.
He swung a punch at the assailant with the heart attack tool in between his fingers and caught the guy on the chin and ripped it open.
Screaming and holding his chin, he ran off. Mick got into his car and called the police. Thanks to the description Mick gave them and the trail of blood they quickly apprehended the perpetrator and he's know behind bars for a string of car thefts.
If you think crime can only happen to the other guy you are wrong. The "other guy" is thinking the same thing and to him you are that "other guy". There is a reason why they call it self defense. You have to protect yourself, your family, your home and business!!
Chances are if you are reading this that crime has touched your life in some way or you consider yourself at risk. Take the next step and do something to protect yourself! Your life and safety is worth far more than the cost of personal security device.
