The number one reason many people buy the Lumix FS11 is due to its extraordinarily cheap price.
This opening sentence might not be the most awe inspiring but the fact is it's still a quality camera which has many features that destroys the competition with higher price tags.
In fact this camera is so cheap many people brush it off as not being good enough. This is total nonsense as it has more mega pixels than the highest selling Lumix camera (The Lumix TZ10). This is bewildering especially since its 100% cheaper.
To go along with the high quality pictures it also has HD Recording which enables users to shoot movies (which is also high quality). This can come in handy on fun occasions and can add to the overall experience.
It may seem like this camera is perfect so far but in fact... It isn't. The one thing that lacks on the Lumix FS11 is the amount of zoom it can muster. It can only go as far as 5x optical zoom and this can be an issue with some people but in the end it depends on preference.
However it makes up for this again by being extremely functional and making it so simple that a child could record and take photos for people. This is a feature that cannot be overlooked in the slightest.
