The exercise simply requires the individual to slide down the wall with their back firmly pressed against it until the knees are crouching at about a ninety-degree angle. The position should be held for a brief count of five and then the individual can slide back up the wall. Back pain relief can come after performing this particular exercise for about a week.

A number of other exercises can be performed in order to find relief that can be discussed with a doctor, personal trainer or other specialist that can advise on how to deal with back pain. If exercise is not an option, there are a number of over the counter and prescription medications that can be obtained through a doctor that can ease the pain.

However, exercising on a regular basis is defintely the best option so I advise that you seriously look into find a workout routine that works for you. Even if it's just doing some light jogging and stretching, this can work wonders for easing the pain in your back and making you feel much better.
