LAS VEGAS EVENTS

The beauty of Las Vegas, and one of its main attractions as a holiday destination, is that a completely customized holiday is easily achievable. Many people from all over the world arrange Las Vegas holidays through some type of package and enjoy savings on all kinds of amenities, dining, and much more. Every month of October, there is the annual Coming Out Day Street Festival. The Super Bowl parties in Las Vegas take place in the Strip clubs. Sponsored by the Las Vegas Asian-Pacific Cultural Center, the Chinese New Year is celebrated with a number of different events held all over Las Vegas. Every third week of March, monster trucks gather each year at the Sam Boyd Stadium for the Monster Jam World Finals. Las Vegas is the place to be every Fourth of July, where you can enjoy the most spectacular fireworks at a number of venues, including Cashman Field, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the Santa Fe Station Pavilion, Desert Breeze Park, Hills Park in Summerlin, Bicentennial Park in Boulder City, Morrell Park, the Stratosphere Lounge and the Primm Valley Casino.

VEGAS SPAS

Las Vegas Spas go to great ends to provide unique and luxurious experiences to indulge and delight your senses and are just as elaborate as the hotels they are set in. The Venetian is one of the top multi-million dollar resorts in Vegas, and their Canyon Ranch Spa Club, which is open daily from 8am to 8pm, is no less impressive than the hotel itself. Located in the Augustus Tower, Qua Baths & Spa presents a calm atmosphere with its natural lighting, stone flooring, dark wood accents and the soothing sights and sounds of waterfalls and rain showers. Bally's Holiday Health Spa have eucalyptus steam rooms, a combination of heat therapy and aromatherapy, and the perfect way to soothe tense muscles before your massage. Elegant, hip, and fun for all ages, Green Valley Ranch Resort & Spa accomplishes much more than most off-Strip properties. Unlike any of the spas you will find in Las Vegas, the Bathhouse features uniquely European styling with slate walls, marble floors and breathtaking water features throughout. But a number of fine Las Vegas spas are not in the hotels, such as the Djanel Spa and Salon, which is actually set inside a home.

GOLF COURSES IN LAS VEGAS

A Las Vegas golf course is a break from the bustle of the Strip, with their noisy crowded casinos. One of the best Las Vegas golf courses, the Bali Hai is designed to transport you to an Indonesian paradise it was named after. Cascata Golf, which is a par-72 course, ranked one of the top 100 modern courses in America and the #2 course in Nevada by Golfweek magazine, providing stunning vistas at every turn, including the 3,600-foot peak at Red Mountain, 418-foot waterfall, lush fairways, lakes, and streams. Play Las Vegas' most strategic courses with thousands of mature pine trees line well-groomed fairways, with water coming into play on 9 of the 18 holes at the Desert Pines. Known as a premier golf destination, Lake Las Vegas Resort offers two award-winning Jack Nicklaus Signature Las Vegas golf courses and a third course by Tom Weiskopf. At Paiute Golf Resort, players have a choice of three Pete Dye-designed courses in this 54-hole golf wonderland. Spending a day at a Las Vegas golf course is an excellent way to unwind and enjoy a popular sport in the most scenic environment at the same time.

MOVING AROUND LAS VEGAS

In the same manner that Las Vegas hotels and Las Vegas nightclubs continue to test the boundaries of outrageous luxury and over the top amenities, Las Vegas transportation is now pushing the limits of style, comfort, and fun. Sixteen taxicab companies service the Las Vegas valley. ACL, Bell, Star, and Showtime are just a few of the companies that offer shuttle buses between the airport and the Strip and downtown hotels. Finding a limousine in Las Vegas is easy because there are several companies offering limo services there. The classic and probably the most apt way to roam around Vegas is in a car. The Land Yacht, a Las Vegas Party Bus, is complete with a dance floor and cosmo stripper pole which offers space for an abundance of exotic frolicking and dancing. Reaching speeds of up to 50 mph, the Las Vegas Monorail takes you from one end of the world-famous Las Vegas Strip to the other, with seven stops in total, in just 15 minutes.
