subject: Generating Ideas For Article Marketing [print this page]

One problem that a lot of people have when it comes to writing articles is idea generation. Some people call it writer's block, I call it a lack of idea generation.

I never suffer from this. You may ask how is that? Everyone complains about this, don't they? Well, I don't. I don't because I write with the right mindset and realize that ideas are all around all of us.

We have been blessed by an invention called the Internet. The ideas on it are limitless and new ideas are streaming in constantly! All this information is just being beamed out for everyone that has an Internet connection to grab.

Most articles are between 400 and 600 words. It's not that hard to come up with an idea to fill up an article. There are many ways to think of things to write about.

You can think of a big problem. Now, think of a bunch of small solutions to that problem. Each of the small solutions, may not solve that big problem, but each one of them will help improve upon and make the big problem smaller and eventually solve it.

Think about making money online. Unless you were the founders of Google or some large Internet company, it's not going to be one idea that will make you a fortune online.

It's going to be several smaller ideas that once they are put together and applied, that make you your online fortune. It's going to be ideas for several different products and articles. Several different ideas on how to run and promote your web sites etc. Whatever you do with your online business.

When I first started out online, I thought that I was going to come up with this one grand idea that was going to make me rich. Can that work? Yes, it has for some.

I have found out that it didn't work for me. I have talked to countless amounts of other Internet Marketers and that didn't work for them either. My online business started to really flourish when I started reading and thinking creatively for myself.

I would think of good ideas for my business and write them down. I would think of good ideas for products and write them down. I would think of ideas for articles and write them down. I would think of ideas for my web sites and sales copy and write them down.

A person might not have time to put them into use, at the moment, but eventually work them into your online business. I'm a big believer in finishing projects. Finish the projects you're working on, but always be trying to generate new ideas. Once you finish projects, you will always have new ideas to work on and incorporate into your online business.
