This city is also home to a number of beautiful neoclassical and baroque style palaces and mansions. Nymphenburg is one such palace. A baroque style palace surrounded by a beautiful park, it is a famous European palace to add to your Munichsightseeing list. It is also the birth place of the famous Bavarian King Ludwig II. Some of the other palaces to see are the Blutenburg Castle and the Frstenried Palace also baroque style and quite like the Nymphenburg Palace but smaller in size.
