Luminox perfected this watch. It is by far the most handsome, rugged, and timeless chronograph I have in my collection. Also, they offer a range of models to match your own personal style.
This watch first came on the market in 2008. There are two similar styles available. The Field Chronograph Alarm is the premier edition, whereas the Field Chrono watch offers a cleaner dial face and without the alarm.
The Field Alarm Chronograph 1897 has a striking luminous quality, coupled with an old-world design. This is my favorite, hands down. If you like the green dial in more subdued hue, check out the 1837 Field as it offers a similar brilliance and is easier on the eyes.
The Luminox Field 1848 offers a black dial on a black leather strap that looks ultra sharp against the stainless casing. The similar Field 1828, moves a touch darker with a full on black dial.
An ivory dial with steel casing looks just right on dark brown leather. The Luminox Field 1847 is at home in its natural setting, and offers the most classic look of all the field chronographs. The similar 1827 Field Chrono offers a similar contrast if this is your model of choice.
The 1829 Field Chrono gives off a warm glow with brilliant burnt orange in perfect harmony with a stainless brown casing. The matching leather strap brings this watch to life.
Finally if you prefer a solid steel bracelet to the leather strap, Luminox also offers a full stainless in the Field 1842 or the Luminox 800 Ultimate Field Series. Heavy on the ultimate because the name really says it all on this model as well.
All of the Field watches are full size chonographs, built for a man. The watch will cover your wrist. Not everyone is prepared for this, I much prefer it. Compared to thin bracelet watches and a small casing, I find this style far superior.
