1-No major defined?
People think once you are in college you should know which major to choose, but you don't have to pay much attention on that, mainly in your freshman year. What you can do if you don't know what to study, is during your freshman year try to enroll to any major you consider interesting and go to different classes so you can think carefully about what you really want to be in the future.

If you think college is just to go to not very interesting classes, let me tell you are wrong. One of the reasons why you should attend college is to meet new and friendly people, who have different customs and beliefs. College is a great experience when having friends and learning from them while in the campus.

One thing you need to take into consideration before going to ask for a job is that nowadays companies are looking mostly for professional and prepared people. A way to assure a good job position is having a major by joining the right college according to your needs.
4-Save your money
T o succeed we must do one thing at a time, for example once you decided to attend college, the next step is not to buy textbooks or any other material. First ask someone who already took that specific course which books you should buy and where, this will help you to save money, also do not forget that everyone learns in a different way, so try to look for those methods that fit you and you will avoid unnecessary purchases.

Every time you have a doubt about any course or something related to any class requirement, don't hesitate in going to your advisor. They will clarify all your questions and guide you to the right track during the enrollment process.
