Since its release in late 2009, the Nokia X6 has proven to be a popular handset, thanks to its sophisticated styling and impressive spec list. Its key features include internet browsing, plenty of storage, and an impressive 5MP camera.

The Nokia X6 measures 111x51x13.8mm and only weighs 122 grams. Therefore it is a comfortable handset to use when on the go.

The Nokia X6 has a generously proportioned 3.2 inch TFT capacitive touch screen, which offers great display quality. This is thanks to the ability to display up to 16 million colours within 260x640 pixels. The screen also features an accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and is made from scratch-resistant glass protecting it from everyday wear and tear.

The aforementioned camera boasts 5 mega pixels for great quality still images. It features Carl Zeiss optics so users are assured of the build quality of the camera. Autofocus and LED flash are provided, which simplify the task of taking good quality snapshots. In addition to still photos, the camera can also shoot video in VGA at 30 fps, as an alternative method of image capture.

A variety of connectivity features keep the Nokia X6 connected to both the internet and cellular networks. In areas covered by 3G, HSDPA is available at speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps for browsing the web. A faster internet connection can be attained in areas where a signal from a local wireless internet router is present. This is thanks to the inclusion of Wi-Fi connectivity. Bluetooth and micro USB finish off the list of connectivity features within the Nokia X6.

A long list of additional features adds to the functionality of the X6, including a media player, voice command and photo editor.

The handset is available in a variety of colour schemes, so its appeal extends beyond simply its technical specifications.
