We all live by certain rules. In turn, these are anchored on certain principles. These values serve to guide our actions and what we believe to be right and wrong. I could go philosophical into this, but I won't. I really don't want to sound preachy because that would just not be me.
However, I'd like to share with you one simple tenet that I've learned and have always lived by ever since I experienced the tremendous benefits being an Internet Marketer has to offer. It's so friggin' simple, but it has impacted my life in the most profound ways.
That rule is simply this: When I begin to have doubts about my ability to accomplish something, to begin a new venture, to start something which at first looks extremely difficult, I tell myself: "F*** Kevin! Go right ahead and do it!" I then tackle the problem one step at a time, one day at a time, right until I have accomplished what I've set out to do.
See, our fears always prevent us from truly realizing our goals. We are afraid to try because we fear losing money. We fear that people will laugh at us. We fear failure. But as the saying goes, the only thing that we have to fear is fear itself.
If you can't conquer your fear, you'll end up paralyzed. You don't move forward. You impose self-limiting restrictions because of imaginary barriers. When you constantly tell yourself "I can't do it," "It's too difficult," or "It's too expensive" you begin to believe in it. You condition your mind, your soul, your entire cosmic world to your negativity. And man, believe me, if you don't take that first giant step towards conquering that fear, you won't get anywhere.
Want to start your online business but are afraid to take the plunge? Educate yourself! Read tons and tons of books on the subject. Only by arming yourself with the right information and knowledge about something can you be confident enough to get right into the heat of things.
And here's one final word: When you've decided you want to try it outwhether it be bungee jumping, skydiving or Internet marketingand have prepared yourself mentally for the challenge, then don't look back. Go right ahead and do it.
When you think you can't, that's when you should believe that you can!
