Interval Training Doing Interval Training Is Not Just About Doing Sprints

News Flash - Interval Training Burns Fat

Have you heard? When it comes to a fat burning workout it doesn't get better than interval training. Okay so maybe that's not such a big news item. But why is it that when people talk about interval training it's always about running sprints?

Interval Training is So Much More Than Running Sprints

First of all in case you didn't know doing intervals is about doing an exercise at a high intensity for a certain amount of time followed by a low intensity exercise and alternatingback and forth.

Here is a Sample:

30 seconds high intensity, 1 minute low intensity 45 seconds high intensity, 1 minute low intensity 60 seconds high intensity, 1 minute low intensity 90 seconds high intensity, 1 minute low intensity 60 seconds high intensity, 1 minute low intensity 45 seconds high intensity, 1 minute low intensity

Don't Like Running Sprints Then What?

I don't like to run much myself. And with all the other options you have for your interval training why limit yourself to one thing. It makes me laugh when people talk about doing intervals, that'sall you hear being talked about.
