Google Chrome Lets Users Donate by Browsing the Internet

Don't you know that you can now donate money for a cause through internet? That is made possible by Google Chrome, The users of Chrome can now give donations by simply downloading Chrome for a Cause browser extension while surfing the internet. Chrome is running this campaign through Sunday in time for the Holiday season to help selected charity institutions.

Each of us who uses the internet usually has more than 3-5 tabs per browser when surfing the web. As a blogger I usually use more than 10 tabs per browser since I love researching and surfing the net. I simultaneously open different tabs with different web sites because it saves my time on browsing especially when waiting for another site page to load.

Since users open lots of tabs Google Chrome uses the tab opened as the basis for donations. Their system counts the tabs the user opens for browsing and the Google plans to donate money depending on how many tabs are clicked on each day.

Anyone can participate on donating with Chrome. You don't have to shell out money just to give donations. You just have to download the Chrome for a Cause browser extension, browse the web and you'll be prompted to submit your tab. The number of tabs opened will determine a charitable donation made on behalf of Chrome community, up to one million dollars. You and your tabs can make:

10 tabs = 1 tree planted

10 tabs = 1 book published and donated

25 tabs = 1 vaccination treatment provided

100 tabs = 1 square foot of shelter built

200 tabs = 1 person's clean water for a year

You can now donate and help charity institutions by browsing the internet!
