Your first thought might be that auto accessories are expensive and they are not worth the price. A lot of times you might be right, but if you are looking at headlights, it is a whole other story. A lot of luxury car companies are putting in LED headlights for their stock models of their cars. This not only makes the car look sleek and futuristic, it actually makes it safer to drive in a lot of weather conditions and at night. Projector headlights can be helpful not only at night, but during snowy and rainy conditions. They allow a few more feet of visibility and sometimes thats all you need to see that you are about to run off the road.Plus, they look noticeably cooler than the regular stock lights. Usually headlights will cost you no more than a couple hundred dollars and even cheaper if you bargain hunt online.
If you live in a cold or rainy climate, upgraded tires are also a must have for your vehicle especially if it is not of the sport utility variety. Snow tires are an investment, but they are not as much as you think they are if you have another set of tires for the other half of the year. Snow tires are expensive, but if you switch them out when it doesnt snow, they end up lasting over fifty thousand miles which can be up to six or seven years if you rotate them.
So whether you want that new exhaust system that makes you engine purr or just some new auto headlights, its always a good idea to upgrade for safety before going for the good stuff.
