Maybe snoring is caused by our last food intake before hitting the bed. There are many unanswered questions that remains when talking about snoring for instance does snoring have something to do with health, is snoring caused by improper breathing, does snoring pertains to our blood or is snoring related to our emotions. Why is it that snoring occurs more commonly in men than in women? Is snoring just a common notion that occurs in men more often than in women or is there a practical explanation why snoring seen to happen to men more frequently rather than to women specifically?

The most common thing that people mention when talking about sleeping is snoring.

WHAT IS SNORING?

The tongue also plays a part of making the snoring sound. Snoring is somewhat similar to the same sound that is emitted from our air pathways but snoring makes a louder expression or sound. Some people have a common idea that snoring is a state of body status such as times when you are so tired and exhausted that you just want to fall on the bed due to your long daily activities. Snoring can be normal to most men and women alike.

TYPES OF SNORING

Snoring while the mouth is open shows a problem with the throat which is opposite of the type of snoring that commonly happens when you haven't had much sleep for a few nights. The tongue inflicted snore is caused when the back of the tongue is blocking some parts of the air passageways which produces the snoring sound. To snore at night may primarily be caused by heavy day time activities that has made the body tired during bedtime at night.

MOST COMMONLY KNOWN CAUSES OF SNORING

A person who is under a medication, or is taking a regular prescribed medicine can affect the relaxation of the muscles much than it needs therefore the muscles around the throat and the air paths relaxes and then creates a snoring vibration during ones sleep. Alcohols and/or alcoholism is another cause of snoring. Medications can also be one of the causes of snoring. When air is inhaled and exhaled rapidly, it blocks the pathways which causes the throat's tissues to vibrate and causes the snoring sound. Non smokers are not saved from snoring caused by smoking because second hand smoke is just as harmful as first hand smoke.

CONTROLLED AND UNCONTROLLED FACTORS OF SNORING

One of the basic factors that contributes and triggers snoring is the inflammation of the airways.

WHAT FOODS CAUSES US TO SNORE?

Since we already know that fatty foods may usually induce snoring when we sleep, it is best that you stay away from the succulent fats. An allergic reaction to a dairy product may soon turn into throat inflammation and cause swelling of the air tracks which in will lead to snoring. Fatty foods are quite self explanatory when it comes to snoring. Another eating related tip is do your best not to over eat especially at dinner time.

TIPS ON HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR WEIGHT AND EATING HABITS TO AVOID SNORING

Be conscious of the amount of food that you eat. Stay away from your food temptations all the time if. Bite smaller pieces of food and chew the food very slow, like you are really savoring the dish will help prevent snoring. By using smaller bowls and plates, you will eat less than what you normally would consume in one meal time.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARE SNORING SEVERELY?

When people snore too much this is considered to be a form of severe snoring. To determine if you have severe snoring, ask yourself if your snoring is VERY loud. One of the most important ways to stop snoring is to try to lose more weight. If possible,every night just before going to bed, try to clear your nasal passages with nasal spray or salinase to ease stuffiness which will prevent you from snoring.
