A. A location is one of the most important things for a new business! To choose a location depends on several things like the type of business, the type of customers that you want to attract, and the size of the business. Its usually best to have a business that has street sign access, so people driving along the road can see your business. Look for a location where your business will be unique but fit-in with all the other businesses.



When you have found a location that is suitable to your needs, its now time to start building or negotiating a contract for your rent and zoning costs. Its important to set-up terms that will work for your business and to make sure your renting or building cost are not over your estimation.

A. Before decorating your business it is important to think about who your marketing your business to or whos your target demographic. For a restaurant everyone is a potential customer, however, some restaurants are more family orientated, while others cater more to the younger crowds. Most restaurants have a theme of some kind. Themes can range from simple to elaborate to fancy. After decorating the customer areas of the restaurant it is important to focus on the kitchen/coking area. This is where a business should focus on providing the best restaurant equipment possible. For a restaurant the kitchen is the most important area this is where all the food is created. A restaurant gets return customers based on how good their food taste!



Hiring employees is also an important part of a restaurants atmosphere; employees are the first interaction your customers have with your business. Therefore it is important to hire energetic, friendly employees who love your food. Having good employees is another way to ensure that you have return customers.



Starting a business can be fun and rewarding! However, it can also be challenging and demands a lot of time, dedication and love. So remember to think about your decision to start a business and make sure your decision is based on considerable thought and personal reflection.
