While the media is concentrating on distorting Sehnaouis reputation instead of concentrating on the peoples economical and social problems, allow me to share with you my opinion on this issue, since I was Antouns classmate.
In fact, it was so weird for me to hear this amount of wrong information being given about a person that Ive known really well during college.
AntounSehnaoui is nothing like what hes being described by certain media stations nowadays. In fact, the problem in Lebanon is that the people are mis-informed and their opinions are manipulated by tendentious campaigns, led by media stations linked to political parties. So, the campaign against AntounSehnaoui, is one of many others, led by certain political parties against successful businessmen. The particular party I am talking about is obliged to diffuse such a campaign through its news media; do you want to know why?? Its because they are indebted for the benefit of Nicolas Sahnawi.
Returning to the initial subject, allow me to tell you that AntounSehnaoui is nothing like they are describing him. He is one of the most generous persons I have ever known. Hes one of the rare businessmen that still care about charity work. His only mistake that is one of his qualities as well is that he refuses to talk about it in the media, convinced that if you really care about the people you shouldnt do it with cameras around you.
To conclude, let me say that individuals who are a source of pride to our country- like AntounSehnaoui must be honored by the Lebanese media, not insulted for personal interests.
