Younger children will never be able to understand why their parent has broken a family by being unfaithful. Cheating on your spouse is worse when there are children from the marriage. They may even be caught in custodial disputes if an affair results in divorce.

4.Future of the marriage- once an affair is out in the open- either through your spouse confronting you or your confession, it is naturally very difficult to remain together.
