I like step 3 because in this step you do realize that you don't want the marriage to be the same it was before these changes. You want to show more spontaneity and passion towards each other. In a marriage, you both share lives together. Relationships are supposed be fun, and they're supposed to make each day different from the last.
With that in mind, do things that you partner would have never expected from you. You could surprise your wife with tickets to a movie you both could go to, or you could do more things with your husband. Things he usually does alone, you could get more involved.
