One lucky couple could be jetting off to the Taj Exotica Maldives for their honeymoon thanks to Taj Palace Dubai and City 101.6 FM.
Taj Palace Dubai has teamed up with City 101.6 FM to find the wedding couple of the year in a month long competition ahead of the Taj Wedding Fair being held February 18th and 19th.
The competition will kick off in January and listeners will be asked to share their love stories on air. Ten winners will be selected at the end of week one to go through to the second round where the contestants will be asked to send their funniest picture of themselves as a couple which will be posted on the website for listeners to vote. Five shortlisted couples will then go through a compatibility test on air to see how well they know each other.
All five finalists will be asked to complete further activities at the wedding fair where a panel of judges will decide who the eventual winning couple will be.
Organised by Dubai based wedding planner Weddings & Events the Taj Palace Hotel wedding fair will be an interactive event with a selection of the finest wedding businesses showcasing their services and products.
Would-be brides and grooms can expect to find tips and advice on everything they need for their big day, from wedding cakes and attire to flowers and photographers. Exhibitors will be on hand to provide all the assistance that they may require to make sure their day is perfect. Representatives from the Taj Palace Hotel Dubai will offer personalised service and assist with the booking of the hotel as an exclusive wedding and reception venue.
There will also be inspirational sessions designed to educate and advice visitors on the many different aspects that go into planning their big day, with wedding experts sharing tips and advice in a series of interactive presentations.
