Getting Focused With Life After a Breakup - Tips For Motivation

Well nobody likes to feel down in the dumps especially this time of year. So I'm going to make the assumption that you want to get back with your ex and have order restored in your life.

My first question is how important is it for you to get back together with that person you love?

The reason I ask this is because motivating yourself to move in that direction is going to be no easy task to be honest with you. It's like pulling yourself out of quicksand, you need to find that really strong branch.

So I'd like to share some tips with you that will hopefully motivate you and get you laser focused on this difficult situation you have.

First work on your strengths, for instance let's say your ex always put you on a pedestal as being an outstanding cook, then take a gourmet cooking class. Improve on the things you're already good at.

Next, hang out with friends and have some laughs. Go to the mall, go to a movie, a concert, it really doesn't matter what you're doing as long as just get out and live your life from a different perspective. Laughter is definitely the best medicine as far as I'm concerned.

Also, do not allow your negative emotions or thoughts take over, remember those things can be very destructive right now. You can't let yourself wander back into the past. Keep your mind clear and your emotions in check so to speak.

Most importantly, do not let anybody influence you by telling you that it's pointless to get back together with that special someone. I know this tip sort of contradicts the third tip mentioned, however just keep in mind that negativity is what your biggest obstacle is going to be.

The thing is you may have to just change the way you think or go about things just a little differently. By doing that then you know you are definitely capable of change.

Some people are just set in their ways and yes it can be difficult.

Just remember that you decide your own destiny, don't let anybody else tell you different. Keep a positive outlook, everything else will work out.

Listen here's the bottom line, "if you want things in your life to change, your going to have to change things in your life". With that being said I know a very knowledgeable person who has a guide posted on my website that is well worth reading, and if you can get past his southern draw things will start making sense to you.
