A million Amazon Kindles Sold
A million Amazon Kindles Sold

The latest entrant to the million dollars' worth gadget club is Amazon itself. Amazon has sold a million Kindles within the 1st 73 days of the holiday season. This is a notorious breakthrough for Amazon and the company has created concrete figures in sales through its launch of Kindle. The wide range of e-readers has already increased causing a huge cut off among real book readers. As technology advances we would see more of real things being replaced by the digital. Now the new possibility in statistics can secure the fact whether Amazon has sold two million Kindles already. This would be one of the most amazing gadget sales to have taken place in history of digital marketing. Kindle DX being on sale has made a great impression with digital e-book reading technology. This sale is bringing new dawn of an era which is all about the new trend of digital reading. Kindle can never match up to the iPad but it is creating a new form of online presence indeed!

"Millions of people now own Kindles," are the words of Jeff Bezos, founder and CEO of Amazon. That surprised analysts, who thought that Amazon would sell 2.5 million or so of the devices by the end of 2010, nearly a year from now.

The Kindle now has real competition from the Barnes and Nobles Nook and, and especially with the Apple iPad. But so far at least Amazon has had amazing success with their device. Which is even more extraordinary since the only place you can buy the Kindle is Amazon.
