subject: Ways To Diversify One's Income [print this page]

You'll never get rich with only one source of income. One of the most important things you should learn with your website is that you have to expand your income.

Assuming you have most of your ads with Google AdSense, let's suppose it makes up 90% of your online income. What if Google cancel your account! What would you do if you lose 90% of your website's income? Can you reclaim your financial freedom immediately? For most individuals, they would not.

If you have a website, you can diversify by using pay-per-click, direct leads, CPA or cost per action or by getting commissions from promoting products or services.

CPA means "Cost Per Action" and is one of the simplest, best ways for a newbie to start earning money online! This style of affiliate marketing requires costumers to complete specific actions in order for you to get paid.

So how does CPA Affiliate Marketing work and, more importantly, how do you produce cash from it?

CPA networks, essentially take the role of the middlemen while you take the role of a traffic broker. You are paid for the leads you generate for a specific company. You don't need to sell anything or your website visitors don't have to buy something for one to make money. You have to merely convince the consumers to click on your ads and act as the advertiser would like them to do, such as signing up for a file download or make an email subscription. It is always easier to get a new buyer to supply information or visit the website of a company (especially when there's a free sample or product that goes with it) than buy something. Therefore, with CPA marketing it is easier to make a conversion. Because it's so profitable, CPA marketing can be very competitive.

Opening other websites is another way of expanding one's earnings. At this time, I have quite a few websites that I create earnings from. Google banned one of my websites from their search engine nearly 4 months previously! This is not an unusual thing to happen among Internet Marketers. It appears that my website had lots of outgoing links to sponsor ads and they considered it a "link farm". Just then, I was making something like $1000 / month for that site.If I didn't have all of my other sites to pick up the slack, can you imagine the mess that would have been?

Having them on various servers is another way of diversifying your websites. These days hosting is dirt cheap. Supposing you throw one or two of them up on a $5.99 a month server and pay for a year's worth of hosting, then you're on the right track. Not only does it have search engine benefits, but if one of your servers should go down, not all of your

websites are down at once.

Just remember to always look for new streams of income for striving to find additional ways of netting money online is worth it in the end.
