subject: Adwords Is Not A Short Term Business Strategy [print this page]

To be successful with adwords you have to stay on top of things. Competitors can change, rates can change, but you have to think long-term, when it comes to adwords.

You have to ask yourself one very simple question when it comes to using adwords. What do you want out of it?

Some people just dabble with it and are using a lot of other traffic strategies and just using adwords for a little boost. Some people are relying on adwords for their primary source of traffic.

I like diversifying in different traffic strategies. Relying on one strategy can be dangerous because things happen, things change. You never know when it can change for the worse.

If you're going to rely on Google adwords for your primary source of traffic, you're going to have to put in the time. I think that people get mislead by pay-per click advertising.

A lot of people think that hey, it's instant traffic and all I have to do is pay for it and that is it. That isn't it. You have to put the time and the effort into it. You have to test and track and keep everything organized, if you want to really be successful with adwords.

Is running a successful adwords campaign work? Chances are, yes. Are the investment and the time worth it? Chances are, yes You always have to think long-term with your business. Is it hard work, starting your own business? Yes, it usually is very hard work. Building and maintaining it can also be very hard work, but hopefully one day you can scale back on operations and have more time for doing other things.

You either set yourself up for success or you set yourself up for failure. If you get into adwords un-prepared and don't want to put any time into it, you're setting yourself up for failure.

If you get into adwords with the mindset that you're going to be successful and that you are confident that you're going to put the time and effort into it. You are setting yourself up for great success with adwords!

Can adwords make your dreams come true? Yes

Can adwords take people's dreams away and flush them down the toilet? Yes

There are two ways of doing things. The right way and the wrong way. Doing the research, testing and going the extra mile will help you achieve the first. Not doing so, will help you acheive the second.
