Would you like to save 20% on your electric bill without re-wiring anything? Most people haven't choosen an electric supplier yet and that it could save you lots of money.
I know what you're probably thinking. Although more than 30% of residents of a deregulated state have assigned a supplier, 70% are still unbeilieving about the entire deregulation process and how it can help people save money. I too am always a little leery about something that seems too good to be true. So, I got in contact with the Department of Public Utility Control myself and learned a lot of facts.
Will I have more brown outs or black outs? (Answer: no). Who do I get ahold of if I have a black out? (Answer: same company I call now ).
Who will bill me? (Still your local electric company). There are no sign up costs. No cancellation costs. There are no changes in service or service appointments necessary.
How does it work? When you go with with a supplier, you will pick who GENERATES or supplies the electricity, but it will still get DELIVERED through the corresponding electric company.
There is truly nothing to switch
Same electric, same delivery, same service. "They deliver the electric...we supply the savings" is the slogan for the top trusted energy supplier, North American Power.
When deregulation is agreed upon by a state, the local utility company no longer profits off of the supply ration of your bill. This simply means that the utility company will not mind if you sign up with a third party supplier. In fact in most of the newly dereguated such as Pennsylvania, Maryland, Connecticut, New York ect, the local electric companies endorse customers to switch to a cheeper supplier. Go grab a recent electric bill and you'll see two parts broken out for GENERATION and DELIVERY. Your new company of choice will save you a lot of money each month on the GENERATION portions of your bill (which is about 60% of your total electric bill). Once you choose your new supplier, it will only take about 1 billing cycle for the change to be effective.
When you go about choosing an electricity supplier, there are absolutely drawbacks at all. You will still get the same electricity from your normal utility company and pay the exact same bill. Picking an electricity supplier is simple. Suppliers usually have sections on their websites where you can enter in your information from your bill ect and get your lower rate in no time.
So what are you waiting for?? Sign up with an Electricity Supplier and save anywhere from $100-$600 annually on your electric bill.
