Asus are amazing at building very good machines at very reasonable prices. The ASUS U43JC-X1 is another one of these machines that will not cost you an arm and a leg. Just because you are compromising on the price it does not mean you are compromising on the quality. The ASUS U43JC-X1 still has quite a lot to offer. The 14-inch screen is not big but, it isn't small either. It is juts about right.
The performance of the ASUS U43JC-X1 that comes with 4GB of RAM and an Intel Core-i5-450M2.4 GHzprocessor is excellent! Everyday programs run like a dream on this machine and even some of the heavier programs like Photoshop C5 will run smoothly with no issues. If this isn't enough, you can always choose to upgrade to 8GB of RAM. If you are a games lover you will find that they too can run without any major problems, so this machine is very versatile indeed.
The ASUS U43JC-X1 has a truly wonderful display which comes through in the graphics display on games and when surfing the net.
The keyboard is extremely comfortable and you will find that your fingers will have no trouble finding keys as you type. There is a nice click sound when you type but it isn't so loud that it would interfere with the sound of a TV if you were working in a room were someone was watching a movie. With 500GB of storage you can have quite a lot of movies on it.
Overall the ASUS U43JC-X1 is built very well and feels solid when you are using it. The overall experience is one of a smooth nature and this fits in perfectly with the sleek design of the case. If you need a reasonably powerful machine at a good price you can't go wrong with this laptop.
