How can you know if you will benefit from a body detoxify? Do you wake up feeling more tired than when you went to sleep? Do you want to just lay on the sofa rather than face another day at work? Is your stomach feeling bloated, bubbly and acidic?

If the answer is yes, then you are not alone. Too many people feel the same way, and it is not just the pressures of life. It's our bodies telling us they need to be rejuvenated and want to get back to feeling good.

A way to give your body a boost is by body cleansing, or a body detoxify. You can do this by fasting. Don't panic; this does not always mean not eating. It can also mean cleansing your body by drinking certain liquids.

Here are a few steps to follow to enjoy a Body Detoxify.

1) Drink lots of water every day, 2 liters if possible. Drink water in preference to anything else, but if you get bored, see next point.

2) As an alternative, drink fresh fruit juices. They will help to cleanse your intestinal system, as well as enrich your body with vitamins and nutrients.

3) While fasting, try and avoid fatty and sugar foods. This will help with your digestion and excretion of toxins.

4) A Body Detoxify is not just about what you are eating and drinking. It is also about your mind. If you can, go away for a couple of days to somewhere quiet and relaxing, or at least arrange your life to be quiet and un-demanding for awhile.

5) Go for walks, read books and just relax. Turn off the phone!!If you cannot manage a weekend, try out a few hours at a spa or have a massage.

6) Sometimes detoxifying can cause you to feel achy. A massage will feel wonderful, and move your lymphatic fluid around, which assists the process.

7) Drink Teas! There are so many different teas available, i.e. fruit, green, relax, energy, etc. Tea is very rich in anti-oxidants. These help your body eliminate free radicals that may cause cancer in the body. They can also be drunk any time of the day.

8) Eat brown rice. It contains lots of Vitamin B which is a stress reducer. It is also very good for your digestion.

Stress plays a large part in how our body works. Get rid of stress and you are getting rid of negative energy.

Heal your body and you will heal your mind. Follow all or some of the above ideas and you will be on the way to a successful body detoxify. You will then feel renewed energy and life!
