Every time someone bids, the auction price goes up by a penny and a few seconds is added to the auction timer. The last person who bids wins the auction.
Penny auctions offer a great opportunity for people to get valuable items at very low prices, up to 95% off retail prices. However it's important to keep in mind you're not guaranteed to win anything. You could end up bidding on the same item for hours, only to run out of bids and lose the auction. PA sites like BidCactus offer a fun and exciting way to shop and bid, as long as you're willing to play the game and don't spend more than you're willing to lose.
What makes BidCactus stand out among other PA sites is their prize selection, which the main category being gift cards. Most of their prize selection consists of gift cards from places like Starbucks, Home Depot, Best Buy, Target, JC Penny's, Wal-Mart, and more.
