Once apon a time I weighed 59kg and 6 foot tall 19 years old and I was working my behind off in a store job for a Refrigeration Parts wholesaler, minimum wage long hours unloading Air-conditioning duct from 20 and 40 foot containers in 40 degree heat. It was tough work I was eating like a horse and drinking like a fish. I woke up one morning and thought I can do better than this.
So I started doing pushups, that's right open hand pushups, I would start off with 15 before a shower and 15 after a shower, and the following week I would do 20 pushups before a shower and 20 after, every morning before I went to work, I would increase the pushups by 5 every week, I got to the point where I was doing 140 pushups every morning before I went to work, 70 before and 70 after a shower every morning. I was more active in my job and had moved in to the sales department. Although it did get to the point where I was going so fast with my pushups I lost count. I mean can you blame me I was doing 980 pushups a week. It was great I had very strong forearms and strong peck muscles. Itdefinitely helped toboost my confidence 10 fold, it help myself think straight and of course have an appetite for knowledge which leads to reading more books. Now I'm not saying try and do almost 1000 pushups a week but I do suggest at least go for an early morning walk but you must do it every morning. It will be a stepping stone to help you focus on what you want to achieve.
Remember if you are twenty something now, you most likely have a 60 years tops of life left, that's 60 autumns, 60 springs, 60 winters and 60 summers and that's if you survive all the diseases out there. Eat healthy and exercise.LIFE IS SHORT, LIVE IT!
