subject: The Single Most Important Factor To Lose Belly Fat [print this page]

If you ever want to lose your belly fat, then you need to realize that it's a process that you'll need to plan out and then go at with the utmost intensity. This is what so many people don't understand. They think that they'll be able to shake off their stomach fat by doing nothing more than eating a bit of fruit and going for a walk. But it takes more - much more.

So without meaning to scare you, lets take a look at the most important factor that must have in place if your ever going to lose that ugly belly fat. Just so you know that I'm not one of those guys who was just born skinny - I lost 40 pounds within just a few months with this method - so listen up because you can learn something.

Right, so what is the most important thing you need to do to start losing weight?

It's eating the right foods. If your not eating the right kind of diet, then forget about losing weight. So what you need to do (as soon as possible - like right now) is design your own custom diet plan based on the metrics below.

What I realized when I stopped using other peoples diet plans, was that I could actually enjoy eating my diet when I created it myself because I could include foods that I like. Plus, when you've created an eating plan around your specific bodyweight, you'll get far better results.

So the first thing you need to do is stop eating so many calories. I mean we're really just going to cut your calories by a bunch. Your going to eat no more than 10 calories per pound of bodyfat. I know that sounds like nothing, but you can easily find food which tastes good and doesn't have hardly any calories (which means you can stuff your face full of it).

You are also going to want to get a nice amount of protein. Now I recommend you get quite a lot like 1.5 x your bodyweight in grams, because what this will do is make your body firmer as you'll be able to turn a lot of your fay into muscle with just a little exercise. If you are planning on doing a workout routine alongside this diet (which I highly recommend) go ahead and eat another 20g of protein before and after your exercise too.

Your also going to want to cut your carbs and fats. It would be nice to be able to get rid of these altogether because these are the public enemies, but, you need some because otherwise your energy levels will crash and your bodily functions will cease to run. So with fats I recommend you eat about about 0.2 x your weight in grams. And with carbs you should half your bodyweight and consume that amount.

Something else that I really believe in, is breaking your diet. If you just continue to force yourself to stick to your diet 100%, then this can often lead to you breaking by accident and binging on all the wrong foods and then stopping the diet altogether. Whilst if you plan a break you will be more likely to control yourself and then you can restart the diet as normal.

Plus, there is also evidence that breaking your diet and eating a heavier amount of carbs on that planned day, will help you maintain your metabolic rate and prevent your metabolism from crashing.
