subject: Women And Urban Street Clothing [print this page]

Womens apparel is, more often than not, considered to be trendy, chic, and eye-catching. These are usually adorned with small ornaments (such as beads, sequins, etc.) that spice up a specific design or cut; are delicately engineered to mesh with the female form; and are exaggerated with the use of different fabrics, patterns, tools and a variety of colors.

As drastic changes in our culture and society occur, the fashion industry also goes with the flow. Fashion trends from an array of categories - make-up, accessories, shoes, bags and clothes - tend to evolve in such a way that fashion becomes an art form itself.

Well-known designers from the fashion industry such as Coco Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, Calvin Klein, and Vera Wang among others have contributed to the innovation, development and foundation of what the word fashion truly stands for. It is a beacon of poise, glamour and beauty that will forever be a part of the lives of many people who patronize it.

Clothes undoubtedly give us the freedom to express ourselves. However, not everything that is fashionable and glitzy connotes comfort. Of course, women still choose articles of clothing that make them look and feel good, but designer clothes may not be the best option to be comfortable in when it comes to daily wear. Urban street clothing and urban shirts are, perhaps, the most comfortable and practical clothes a person could actually wear everyday. Be it at work or at play, these hip wonders never come out of style.

Urban street clothing for women is classified into two groups. The first one is the loose assemblage which includes baggy pants and incoherent tops with hoods. The second is the tight assemblage which is the total opposite of the first category. It consists of tight-fitting jeans, tank tops and other dresses which seem somehow constricted.

Not all women could feel snug and sexy in the same tight-fitting or loose outfit since they all have different body types. Those who are in the plus size group tend to feel left out and are often faced with fashion-dilemmas. However, no matter what your body type is, there are still a lot of tips and tricks to make one look fashionable and great.

Bottom line: Highlight your assets and cover up your flaws
