subject: Cycle Your Way To Good Health [print this page]

No matter wherever you are, you are never too far from a health advertisement. You get to see health advertisements on TV, you listen to them on radio, you see them on huge banners which dominate the city landscapes and you read them in newspapers and magazines. Health has really become a concerned today because of the kind of lifestyle we live. Today, we are very much involved in our fast life which is loaded with tension, stress and work load.

An average person works around 10 hours in office and therefore he burns a lot of calories while he is busy doing his work. Apart from that people always stay inside the offices where they are surrounded by the same stale air that is circulated by air conditioners which can have great impacts on ones body. Since the invention of car, people prefer to drive rather than walking and therefore they hardly provide any exercise to their body to ensure that their body remains fit and healthy.

Most sick people always complain that they would love to exercise but they really don't have the time for it and that their schedule does not allow them any time to go to gym and get some fitness tips, but that is very untrue as there are people who not only work hard but they also come out with innovative ideas that would help them to extract some free time from their busy schedule to workout and to be fit and one of the easiest ways to keep yourself fit and healthy is through bicycling.

Do you really know why people in the earlier times were fitter and healthier than us? Probably, because they ate good nutritional food rather than junk food and they used to travel on bicycles rather than in a car. Bicycling is a good cardiovascular exercise that can increase the health of your heart. If you do not have time, you can bicycle for a short distance for around 10 minutes and that is all you need to do in a day to keep yourself well maintained.

Bicycling not only keeps your heart healthy, but also gives exercise to your joints and core muscles. It also helps you to balance your body well and stretches your entire body so that all the muscles are flexed and stretched so that they get the right amount of oxygen to keep you in shape.
