Psychic perception is not a new thing. Ever since the days of ancient Babylon , even the old civilization of Egypt, psychics have been around, living and surviving, and scattered in the population. Here are some general psychic terms.
Telepathy
Telepathy is the communication of mind to mind without any help from the five senses. A mind reaches out to another mind and messages, codes, and downloads are transferred in this manner. Many fluke telepathy and write it off as coincidence.

Psychometry is sensing the energy of objects. If someone has owned, say a watch or, a bracelet for a while the object absorbs part of the owner's energy, a bit like being embedded with a holographic pattern, inside the object itself. Some call it a psychic imprint of the owner.
So the object can be read and personality traits of the owner discovered.
Precognition.
Precognition is the sensing of events before the happen in real life. Psychics read the energy of the situation in the present, not necessarily projecting their mind into the future, but more reading if the energy is strong or weak in a situation. A bit of practice using this method and you soon become good at seeing which way events and situations develop before they happen.
