Calligraphy is a type of visual art. It is often referred to as an art of fancy lettering. A modern definition for calligraphic practice is "the art of giving form to signs in an expressive, harmonious and skillful manner". This word has been derived from two Greek words- kallos which means 'beauty' and graph which means 'writing.

Calligraphy continues to flourish in society through wedding and event invitations, font Design/Project Works/Typography original hand-lettered logo design, religious art, inscriptions and memorial documents. It is also used for props and moving images for film and television, testimonials, birth and death certificates, maps, and other works involving writing(for e.g. Letter Arts Review; Propfe 2005; Geddes and Dion 2004).

Write Right follows a uniquely designed course to equip its students interested in Western Calligraphy. They are trained to learn the difference in lettering styles occurring on the basis of typography. Our methods assist in gaining the ability to form fluid and spontaneous characters, which can be improvised regularly, while being written.
