Energy Audit Training

Energy audit is a procedure to analyze the energy flow in the building, necessary to conserve energy without affecting the energy outputs. Energy audit training saves 30 % of total energy use of the building. An average U.S home owner spends around $2000 per year for energy usage. Such a tremendous usage decreases fossil fuel and increases the cost of existing fossil fuel. To eliminate such a bare situation, Energy audit training is implemented. The training provides knowledge on minimizing the energy use in effective ways.

Four types of energy audit:

1.Bench Marking

The students are trained to take a close look at the buildings electrical, mechanical and plumbing system and how it uses electricity. It is a waste of time to calculate from the paid current bill. The energy usage details are collected from the utility vendors. This idea is basically to find out and replace the equipments that consume more electricity. It requires more one to one comparison to identify the best low energy consuming products and also this is where energy stars model gain popularity.

2.Preliminary Audit

It is a short discussion with the site operating personnel about the building operation strategy. This is just a brief introduction and you may not arrive at a conclusion by the end of the audit. But this could be a start up to prioritize the energy efficiency projects.

3.General Audit

The General audit otherwise called as complete site energy audit is an expansion of preliminary audit. Energy utility bills are collected for a period of 12 to 36months which allow the auditor to figure out the energy utilization .It uses computer tools and onsite measurements to evaluate energy levels. Only at this moment the financial analysis is performed. At the end of the General audit, sufficient information on project implementation can be worked out.

4.Investment Grade Audit

A rigorous analysis is being worked out in this section. A successful energy saving project is accomplished in this section. The time taken to complete this audit is from two months to maximum six months. The time varies depending upon the complexity and size of the building.

Energy Audit Training provides student expertise knowledge to conduct a survey on the energy flow of the building. Energy audit is a growing need. An energy auditor can quickly calculate the energy value and easily brings down the wastage of energy without having the need to affect the output. This energy consumption saves a lot of money. Apart from saving money, Energy conservation is becoming more and more important to reduce the green house effect. The training ensures jobs in public utility companies, U.S Government sector and in private corporations.

The training has different section and depending on the type of skill you acquire, you will be able to carry out preliminary, general or investment audit. At the end of every project, the client must gain assurance of saving considerable energy. The opportunity for energy conserving job is increasing worldwide and choosing this training could be a right choice for your career.
