After watching the infomercial for the Ab Circle Pro, I decided to do a little independent research and see what people really think about it. After all, this wouldn't be the first time a product looked great on TV but failed to deliver real results in reality, right?
The reviews and testimonials that I read weren't conclusive. Some liked this machine, but most had complaints about it and some even went as far as say that the Ab Circle Pro is a scam. I don't want to go that far but there are some things which I think are in a bit of a gray area:
First of all the price isn't what it seems to be at first glance. Their website "shouts" at you with big letters that you can get the Ab Circle Pro for a 30 day trial for just $14.95. This seems great but at the bottom of the page, in the fine print, you can read that you also add $34.50 shipping costs and that to not pay more you need to send the item back at your own expense.
Second, it's unclear when the 30 day trial period begins, when you order the item or when it's delivered. This is important because they also offer a 60 day money back guarantee, but the 60 days begin when you order. Since they say that it may take up to 3 weeks to deliver the product to you, this doesn't give you a lot of time to try it out.
Still, this doesn't mean that the Ab Circle Pro is a scam, but I prefer more open and clear business practices.
Does the Ab Circle Pro work?
Some people say that it does, but I doubt that just by using this or any other machine for 3 minutes a day that you'll get any leaner. Unless you eat well and create a calorie deficit, you will not lose weight.
Many people complained that the knee pads aren't really comfortable and that you don't feel the strain in your abs if you're already fit. It seems like this machine isn't for everyone.
You need to decide whether you have faith in this machine and whether you will workout with it. Since the full price of the Ab Circle Pro is over $200, this is a big question.
