I remember a while ago when my sister told me she did not intend to take the relationship with the guy she was seeing into marriage. Her primary reason being that he snored too loudly and left her awake most times by his bedside.
Is there a correlation between a successful relationship and snoring? What would you do if you recently entered into a relationship and discovered your partner was a chronic snorer? Would that determine the extent you would go with him or her.

I personally do not snore and enjoy a noise free sleep, but I've had partners that do snore. There are mild snorers who you can actually sleep beside and when you get caught up in dreamland, you won't even hear a thing. But a chronic snorer may leave you awake all night.
I remember seeing a picture of a woman sleeping beside a man and for a head; he had a PAS (public address system). It looked really funny especially when that horn had to hoot at the dead of the night.
It is rare to hear that anyone walked away from a relationship because you discovered the snoring habits of your lover. Most times you are too deeply in love to make that a priority. It may be disgusting sitting at night in a corner of the room listening to the groveling sounds of deep satisfied sleep coming from a completely oblivious person who may be amazed at the extent of damage his snoring is causing.
People endure relationships with worse circumstances. So when you think about the statistics of those who engage in it you discover it is a huge figure, and you kind of think that if every third male has this problem, then it must be a good problem.
This cannot be viewed this way anymore because snoring has its own health disadvantages. Medically, snoring is a major symptom of sleep apnea. Sleep apnea has led to the death of some of its victims, which now makes the issue of a cure no more negligible.
