Enjoy Flights to Tunisia And Enjoy Cultural Delights

Tunisia has become one of the most popular holiday destinations among visitors from Britain. The eastern coast, Cap Bon is the most frequented and well developed area of Tunisia and holidaymakers flock to the Mediterranean coast for warm breaks beside the Sea. Booking flights to Tunisia is a good idea at any time of the year because the weather is still warm in the winter months and absolutely scorching hot during the summer months. Of course there are ample opportunities to keep cool, either in the sea or by taking a trip to one of the aquaparks around Hammamet and Cap Bon.

The flipper waterpark is particularly popular among visitors from northern Europe and there are places up and down the various beaches where thrillseekers can rent jetskis and other watersports equipment. For those less inclined to spending days on end splurging cash on aquatic thrills a day at the beach is easy to come by as most of the hotels around Hammamet are located close to or on the coast. After a day of topping up their tans beneath the Tunisian sun holidaymakers can head back to the air conditioned comfort of the hotels and resorts for a nice evening meal before heading out on the town.

A popular resort on all inclusive holidays to Tunisia is the four star El Mouradi Hammamet Resort. The hotel is perfect for couples and families alike and guests can choose sea view and pool view rooms with balconies. The resort is close to many amenities including being right next to the beaches and within a kilometre of an ice rink, enabling visitors to keep cool on the hottest days. The resort has an all inclusive selection that includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks so guests can look forward to a stress free holiday where everything is already taken care of.

Hammamet is full of nice inexpensive restaurants for holidaymakers that would prefer to eat out for a few nights. Avenue Bourguiba running through the centre of town to the beach is full of bars and restaurants, though some are quite expensive as they are specifically aimed at tourists. A little closer to the Great Mosque there are some good restaurants serving up traditional Tunisian food and more familiar dishes. Et Tahrir on the Avenue des Nations is good for healthy, locally sourced and reasonably priced food but for something with a slightly more upmarket feel Fatma at the end of Avenue Bourguiba is the place to go.

For holidaymakers that are really keen on traditional food and Tunisian traditions, it is worth making the trip by train, bus or car to the Tunisian capital Tunis. Once in the capital there are many interesting attractions and a visit to Tunis is one not to be missed for those able to bag cheap holidays to the historical North African region. The remains of ancient Carthage are the biggest draw in the capital and visitors can get multiple entry tickets covering the most popular museums and outdoor sites.
